trailer covers The PolyPro III cover was a bit of a disappointment. It was delivered in good time, but the fabric tears easily. Where we live we have high winds, and the cover quickly got several tears. Granted the instructions warn to avoid sharp edges, but it tore over the spare tire. I would not recommend it for outside use.
Disappointing Durability This cover did not make it through two years before developing tears. The manufacturer warned about protection from sharp areas, but these rips were at trailer edges and corners, not what I would consider as sharp. We are going to repair and reinforce the cover with tarp repair tape at all the edges and corners.
Got great service from Smith RV and the package arrived very quickly (less than 48 hours), way before Amazon said it would. They were very responsive when I called to inquire about shipping speed and the fact that it got here so fast is a testament to the fact that they’ve got a clockwork operation going on over there.As for the product, at first glance, it seems even heavier duty than I expected, comes in a nice carrying case, has a 3 year warranty, and looks cooler than I thought…
