Perfect fit – Easy Installation on Dometic Refrigerator vents There were not any reviews so I wasn’t sure if this would fit or not…pleased to say it fit perfectly. We have a larger Dometic brand refrigerator with the outside vents that seem to attract nuisance wasp/mudd daubers during summer months in Florida. To install, simply unlock the outside access panel…insert the three provided screens which are made from a sturdy aluminum and pre-cut to fit perfectly…then use the supplied ‘quick ties’ to secure. Fit perfect and easy to install. This product fit perfect in the refrigerator vent slots. I would recommend using more plastic zip ties than were provided to make sure that you get a tighter fit. There is also no hole for the vent tube so you have to make sure you secure it to the top of one of the vents.
Perfect Fit The screens included in this package are 20″ long. Make sure they’ll fit your vent door before ordering. They are made for the Dometic line of RV fridge vents.Install was quick and painless. You’ll need a few extra zip ties. Only 6 were included in the package. I ended up putting 4 per screen to get a good fit all the way across. Two ties per screen just would not have been enough.
