Better because of the ability to back flush it! We got one of these and another brand to test side by side.The taste was better through this filter straw. Other than that, just using them seemed pretty similar other than this one we liked better because it kills the bacteria as well as filtering it.Where we noticed the biggest difference is in dirty water. Great Product And I’m Not Afraid To Prove It! I enlisted the help of my daughter to do a quick review and demonstration of the Personal Water Filter Straw. As you can see, she came up with the “wonderful” idea of using it to drink out of the dog’s water bowl, which I gladly did. The straw did a great job of filtering out not only everything that I could see (my dog seems to love to eat dirt then use her water bowl to rinse her mouth out) as well as anything else that I couldn’t see.
