I don’t understand why this wasn’t included with the tent This rainfly is really just a very thin piece of tent material that goes over the poles of the instant tent to make a second roof. If you folded it up tightly enough, you could fit it in your pocket. That being said, I don’t understand why Coleman decided to make this an accessory purchase, rather than include it with the tent, unless they only have profits in mind, and not the customer or quality of their products. Wrong Features!! The product description is only accurate for the Australian/UK version of the rainfly. The Australian version actually does “creates a vestibule” and it also includes two telescoping steel poles and guy lines to hold it up. The Australian/UK rainfly actually covers most of the tent, (completely over the windows), providing actual privacy and protection form real rain, the kind that hits the tent sideways and diagonally during a real rainstorm.
