You’ll have to replace the drawstring This cover has been on my AC for a year. It has only been removed twice to use the trailer. The drawstring COMPLETELY rotted away and had to be replaced. And if you don’t think THAT was fun, well…Other than that, the basic cover is holding up well. But just be prepared to replace that drawstring or trash the cover if your AC unit is in the sun.
Cord will rot in a year A previous buyer had noted that the cord material rotted after several months. I thought that after two years, Classic Accessories would surely have improved the product. Nope. A few months after I installed mine, the cord material had rotted. I had to restring it with polypropylene, which is weather-resistant. It was a dirty and tedious job.
