Easy to set up, but not as clean as a paper background I take photos of my wife’s cupcakes and cakes for her business. I was getting tired of setting up the paper background with strobes with attached umbrellas. This is great for quick shots, but if you want to stay out of Photoshop, you’ll want to use it with the . easy to use The whole system works well,super quick to put up and take down. When folded up its thin enough to slip behind my desk. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars..the color backgrounds that come with it are wrinkled and very badly. They are made from nylon with a crushed velvet side, so ironing and running through the dryer without melting the nylon will be annoyingly difficult.
Perfect for the price The box is large, but thin, flexible and easy to store. It accommodates large articles, and diffuses light beautifully. As many have said, the accompanying backdrops do have creases or wrinkles, but one side is a non-reflective velveteen, so the wrinkles and folds shouldn’t show. I did find there was lint on the newly opened backdrops, so I did have to use a lint remover to prevent having to touch it up in Photoshop. My biggest complaint was that there were no directions.
