Pocket Shade is an amazing lightweight yet spacious sun shelter. We designed it bigger than all the others along with colors that are more sun deflective. Pocket Shade pops open in about two seconds and when closed is less than an inch thick.

IMPORTANT: Before you purchase any pop up structure please understand that you have to learn how to fold them back into place. Please watch our instructional video on how to properly fold it back up. A website address directing you to our video is included with your purchase. Pop up structures and high winds are not a good match. If its windy day out we recommend not using it.

GoPortable, Inc. spent 2015 evaluating various types of pop up shade units available online. They all seemed to be from the same manufacturer and they were all small – not nearly big enough for two adults. Another thing we noticed is that some pop ups had item storage, but it was always on the outside of the tent. Who wants to put their wallet, keys and other belongings on the outside? We made the Pocket Shade with storage on the inside!
