Nicely constructed stuff sack. Small is larger than you might think. The Alps Compression Stuff Sack is a nicely made piece of gear. I ordered both a medium and small sized stuff sack, not knowing which would be a better choice to hold my down sleeping bag. I was surprised to find that the small was easily able to accommodate my sleeping bag with room left to spare. I could easily have packed in a few pair of socks and probably a t-shirt or two in addition to the sleeping bag.The stuff sack is cinched tight by 4-nylon…

Does the job Excellent stuff sack, though I bought a size too large.PROS1) Four cinch straps. Adjust each one a little at a time and four is enough to keep the load from bulging too much in any direction. The cinch straps work well even when tight.2) BONUS: each sack is sent in a durable mesh bag. Once stuffed, it won’t fit in that bag, but it’s nice to have yet another bag for carrying things!CONS:1) Misleading sizes. I can’t confirm anything in the product…

Great Compression sack Love it. Use it for a larger size sleeping bag, so I have to really use some force to get it all in and this bag holds up. So far I love Alps equipment! I bought a Slumberjack and the seam split when I stuffed it the second time. But this Alps is great on strength. I like the zipper pouch as a bonus too!.The only thing I wish, was that two of the straps would have “pop-off” clips (like a small Kelty I have) instead of the 4 cinch straps on this Alps. It would make it just that…
